March Minutes Available

Minutes from the March Council meeting have been posted on the Council Minutes page.

Puposky Post Office

Puposky Post Office is now only open from 11:35am to 1pm on weekdays.

The hours changed in December, so many of you are probably already aware of this.  This is just an FYI for those that only get to the post office every few months and may not have discovered the change yet.

Collecting for the Food Shelf

March is Minnesota Foodshare Month.

All donations donated to Bemidji Community Food Shelf during the month of March are matched by this program.

During March, Our Redeemer's will be collecting food and cash donations for our local food shelf.  

A box for food donations is located at the altar, and monetary donations may be given to Mary Naylor, our interim BCFS liaison while Diane is away.

Please give generously to help feed hungry people in the Bemidji area.

Project Linus Change

Project Linus will NOT meet at Our Redeemer’s next Wednesday, March 19th.

 

    Instead, this Saturday, March 15th, there is going to be the annual  

Make A Blanket Day

at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bemidji,   

123 29th St. NE

9 AM to 3 PM  

Rolls and lunch will be provided.     

 

The new Linus coordinator, Angie Theis, has organized this.

Bring your sewing machine (if possible), scissors, large needles, etc.. .

There will be some fabric, batting, and other material available.  

Also, Darlene is taking what we have ready to work on too.  So everyone should stay busy. 

 

Everyone is welcome to attend as it is always a fun day and this will be nice opportunity to meet our new Linus coordinator, Angie.

Community Breakfast

The second Sunday of the month is approaching which is dedicated as 

Community Breakfast Day.

This is a FREE meal, served from 7:45-8:45am at Our Redeemer's.

Everyone is invited to join us for a great meal and some good fellowship.

Please remember that this Sunday is Daylight Savings Time, so move your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night.

Don't worry, there will be good strong coffee at the breakfast!
