Several Announcements

August was a busy month for our Parish and September looks almost as busy....

The Announcements Page has been updated so please take a look so you don't miss any of the community events coming up soon.  The Lake Julia Dinner Cruise is scheduled for this Sat. Sept 6th!

The two churches in our parish will switch start times on September 7th.

That means for the next year, Trinity will start at 9:00am and Our Redeemer's will start at 10:30am.

There will be potluck after worship service at Our Redeemer's this coming Sunday, Sept 7th.

Last, but not least, Our Redeemer's is in need of volunteers to sign up for the work schedule.  Please add your name to the chart posted in the narthex.  We need volunteers to greet worshipers and prepare communion, read scripture, teach Sunday school, and clean the church.

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this past summer and busy August such a successful and enjoyable time of gathering at Our Redeemer's.  Every gift of time and help is a blessing to us all!

Ice Cream, Crafts, & Fun on Sunday!

Please join us this Sunday, August 24, from 1-4pm for a lovely afternoon out on the lawn at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church.
(Large tent and handicap accessible indoor space also provided)
 

The Annual Ice Cream & Pie Social is filled with good food, good fellowship, music, a raffle, a silent auction, and a craft sale bursting with interesting handmade goods.

Plus, this year there will be two activity tables set up for children to create their own delightful crafts!

We hope to see you there!

Craft Sale This Sunday, Aug 24!

Please join us at the church next Sunday, August 24th, from 1-4pm for homemade ice cream, live music, crafts, and children's activities! 

While preparations are being made for churning ice cream and making pies, the members of Our Redeemer's are also gathering their crafts for the craft sale, raffle, and silent auction.

Some are whimsical, some practical, some yummy, and some gorgeous.  

Several will be featured on this site over the next few days.

Donations for Ice Cream Social

Our Redeemer's Ice Cream and Pie Social and Bazaar Sunday August 24 is gratefully accepting all donations whether pies, crafts, hand canned or baked goods or garden produce.
Darlene  will answer  or direct questions about outside activities, Sharon is  the raffle person, Diane will cashier for  the indoor bazaar and Mary and Sabrina  will set up the silent auction and children's activities.
Please leave contributions at the church Saturday Aug. 23 from 9 A.M. to noon or before noon on that Sunday.
