Sunday Service 10/11/20

Indoor worship at Our Redeemer's at 10:30am.  Masks and social distancing required.  The service is also broadcast live on 106.1 FM radio for those that cannot wear masks or want to sit in their cars for social distancing.

Two young people will be confirmed today: Whitney and Dalton.  With extra visiting family members, some members of the congregation may be seated in the basement with audio/visual.

INDOOR Worship Starts Tomorrow

Our Redeemer's Lutheran in Puposky returns to INDOOR worship tomorrow. 

We are practicing strict social distancing and masks are required. 

Council has decided to slowly implement change.  We will start out with a minimal experience and add elements as our congregation becomes comfortable with each new practice. 

Tomorrow we ask that folks enter the building and go directly to their seats. Please no congregating in the narthex or hanging your coats up. An usher will dismiss family groups at the end of service and groups must exit the building. Folks are welcome to visit outdoors. 

We know this is restrictive and unconventional. But we hope as we become comfortable with the required practices we can add more complexity to the schedule. 

The service will also continue to be video taped and posted here and on Facebook.  Folks are also welcome to sit in their cars in the church parking lot and listen to the live service on 106.1 FM radio.

 Worship times have SWITCHED.  Trinity in Debs now worships at 9am and Our Redeemers in Puposky worships at 10:30am.

Join us for outdoor services at both locations!  Bring your own lawn chair and weather appropriate clothing.  Masks and social distancing required.  You may sit nearby in your vehicle if you do not wear a mask.  On rainy days the service is broadcasted from inside the church to the parking lot via radio station 106.1 FM.

Our Redeemer's will worship at 10:30am and Trinity in Debs will worship at 9am.

FM Radio Broadcast

Due to the rain, Pastor Mike tried out his new FM transmitter radio this morning at Our Redeemer's and broadcast Sunday worship those that gathered in their cars.The service came in loud and clear on 106.1 FM!

We had a pretty view from our vehicles.  A chipmunk also decided to listen and perched on the deck, while a hummingbird visited the Johnny Jump-ups near the entrance.

Sunday Service for 8/9/20

It is 8:01am and raining heavily in Puposky.  Pastor Mike will use the FM radio today to broadcast to the service to our car radios.
Last time he tested it he used FM 106.1 to broadcast.

Feel free to pull into the OR parking lot and tune your FM radio to the Sunday service!

Outdoor Service Tomorrow: 7/12/20

OR will host its first outdoor service tomorrow, Sunday, July 12, at 9am.

Social distancing and masks are required precautions we must take to gather together and protect our neighbors.

Pastor Mike will deliver the message from the narthex (main doors) of the church.

Congregants will need to bring their own lawn chairs and dress/prepare for the weather.  Don't forget options such as sunscreen, bug spray, sun hats, or umbrellas for sun or rain.

Markers will be on the ground to indicate 6 foot distancing.
Masks are required.
For folks that do not want to leave their cars, you should be able to park by the rock garden or the handicapped zone in the back ally.

Bulletins and song sheets will be handed out by Sabrina who will wear a mask and gloves while preparing and distributing the paper.

Please remember that the CDC, MN DHS, and ELCA have issued many COVID-19 guidelines and our Council members are obligated to follow these guidelines.  Our recent poll has indicated that there is interest in meeting outdoors so we hope to offer that option in as safe a manner as possible.  This effort will require willingness to participate in the safety measures.  We hope that you will feel welcome to join us and we do what we can to protect our friends and neighbors as we gather to hear the Lord's Word.

Wednesday Devotion 7/8/20

Good News!  OR will conduct its first outdoor service on Sunday, July 12!  Pastor will preach from the shelter of the narthex to folks sitting outside the main entrance.

More information to come.  But plan on bringing your own seating, mask, and outdoor element protection, such as bug spray, sunscreen, umbrella (good for sun or rain), appropriate clothing.

The ground will be marked with safe distance allowances.  Please wear a mask as community spread has blossomed in Beltrami County in just the last 24 hours.

Please do not drive across the main entrance ally.  For those that want to stay in their cars, we encourage you to park near the Cemetery Rock Garden or the Handicapped Zone.  This will allow seating beyond the ramp in the ally.

COVID-19

Our Redeemer's Church Service is canceled tomorrow (3/22/20) due to the COVID-19 social distancing measures.
Future services are suspended indefinitely.

Our Palm Sunday Pancake Supper is also canceled at this time.
 
Pastor Mike is looking into online ways to share the Good News during this time of social distancing.
